![]() True, original, Bofors-marked Sakos are increasingly difficult to find, especially in unaltered condition. Magazine holds four 7mm Remington Magnum rounds down and the Bofors Steel barrel is 24.4 inches long. The versatile Redfield system allows you to mount any scope regardless of tube diameter or objective size just by swapping rings. It comes equipped with a contemporaneous military-style leather sling as well as Redfield-type bases and scope rings (1-inch). It has all of the features of the "pre-Garcia" rifles including black grip cap, "s" shaped floorplate release, open-centered stock crossbolt, and of course three lug bolt. It is in very good condition with scattered light marks from some use. Bolt handle numbering matches the receiver serial number. Shooters and hunters, this is a Sako L61R Finnbear in the flat shooting 7mm Remington Magnum. Wood and blue are in the 95% range, as well as having a bright, sharp bore. ![]() Pad is very usable, showing very little deformation and remains lively. It still has its front sight and sight hood, as well as the original fixed sling swivels. This rifle was built in 1967 according to the Sako Factory Records and nothing has been modified on it, which is rare for a 50+ year old rifle.
